Overview

Video Styler is a browser extension that lets users adjust the visual appearance of HTML5 videos in their browser. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected, how it is used, and how users can contact us.

Information We Collect

When you sign in or use Pro features, we may collect account information such as your email address, user ID, authentication status, subscription status, purchase status, plan type, and related billing identifiers required to manage Pro access.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not collect or store full credit card numbers. Stripe may process payment details according to its own privacy policy.

Local Extension Data

Video settings, filter values, saved presets, and per-site profiles may be stored locally in Chrome storage so the extension can apply your preferences. These settings are used to provide the extension features and are not sold.

Website Content

The extension runs on supported webpages to detect and style video elements. Video Styler does not upload the videos you watch, webpage text, images, or browsing history to our servers for advertising or resale.

How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

• Authenticate users and maintain account sessions.
• Provide, verify, and manage Pro feature access.
• Process purchases, subscriptions, cancellations, and renewals.
• Improve reliability, prevent abuse, and provide support.

Sharing

We do not sell user data. We may share limited information with service providers that are necessary to operate the extension, such as Supabase for authentication and database services, Stripe for payment processing, and hosting providers for the API service.

Data Retention

Account, purchase, and subscription records are retained as long as needed to provide Pro access, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain accurate billing records. Local extension data can be removed by uninstalling the extension or clearing extension storage.
